Ordered a pastrami on rye from 17th Street Deli through Postmates, and they absolutely hooked it up! The sandwich was stacked, the pastrami was flavorful and tender, and it arrived fresh. Made exactly as I asked, what great service. Lightly toasted rye, extra pastrami and add bacon. I know lettuce tomato and onion may not be normal for a pastrami sandwich, but I like what I like, and this was fire. Great portion, great taste, and definitely worth it!

My first time ordering here. I've been wanting to eat here since having brunch at Plum a year ago (better late than never). I ordered pick-up for my niece and friend. I ordered the Rueben sandwich toasted rye. My niece and friend ordered Italian Lettuce Wrap and Turkey Bacon Avocado Lettuce Wrap. My Rueben sandwich was DELICIOUS. The other sandwiches hit the spot. I ordered pick-up and walked in and saw my order bagged and ready for pickup (that was fast). The place was clean and the woman at the register smiled as I picked up my order. I will definitely be back. They're serving breakfast burritos now.
Placed an online order for pickup an hour before and when I got there it was on the shelf, ready, no hassle! I did forget to order some chips and one of the sides so I went to the counter to get some. I got 3 chips and ordered a side of tuna salad. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is because I never got the tuna salad. But the vibes and the inside were cute, basic deli interior. They do have a great chip selection as well as great soda selection!! For food, I ordered 5 sandwhiches for 5 different people - italian sandwhich (which was for me, and it was SO good, best italian sandwhich ive had in a while) -reuben (i didnt try but was told it was good) -steak sandwhich (i didnt try but everyone raved about how flavorful it was) -2 roast beefs with different things on them, one on a french baguette, one in a tortilla, the tortilla person said it was eh but the baguette person said it was really good! We enjoyed our sandwhiches on a duffy boat and it made everything so much better. Honestly one of my new favorite sandwhich shops, I will probably be back here within the next 2 weeks!

If you are hungry for a delicious sandwich stop by 17th Street Deli...they do sandwiches BIG & HEARTY!!! There are a variety of sandwiches to pick from or let them build your own. I had half of a pastrami sandwich on rye w/coleslaw on it, grilled, cheese & a special sauce, bag of chips, bottle of water. ALL the Ingredients are freshly made. The shop is super clean, simple & quiet because people are in & out. Great place to place a to go & pick up order, especially for lunch. Great place to eat if your a minimalist also. The atmosphere is very chill & relaxed. Customer service was FIRST CLASS!!! Thank you Hannah(Grasshopper) for such kindness, great energy, your laugh, BIG smile & that warm melting chocolate cookie you gave me.Timing is everything with a meal & it was a delicious treat right after the last bite of my sandwich :) I truly felt welcomed & at home in a friends kitchen :) The employees seem to eb & flow very well together in getting things prepared. Parking might be a little challenge due to all the great little stores in that busy little center but everyone seemed to be coming & going at the right time to find a parking space. I highly recommend this delicious find & I'll definitely return for another sandwich & the First Class service!!!
My first acquaintance, and certainly not the last. The food is pretty good, and their popularity is warranted. The wait is on the painfully long side, however, so order ahead online is the principal takeaway. The Reuben, toasted instead of grilled, sounded great. It's been so long, and very few places actually grill anymore. That's what made me curious about their production line. I cooked in a number of restaurants back during undergrad, and the first place was a successful breakfast, lunch, and early dinner spot. I learned how to work fast and cook multiple orders and have high, accurate output. So, after waiting at my table outside for close to 15 minutes, I went in to ask about my order. I think the kitchen could be laid out better than it is presently. There seem to be some inefficient movements by the people on the assembly line, especially to retrieve items being heated up in lieu of a griddle. A manual steamer would be an excellent addition between the two assemblers, for example. Anyhow, everyone was extremely friendly, from the guy who took my order to the guy who completed it. I really enjoyed the sandwich though, which is the important thing. Critiques aside, I'm looking forward to trying something different on the next visit. Their menu offers a lot of options, and none look bad! Solid 4.25/5
